The Unspeakable Pain -The Son and the Father went through - for our sake

Thank God for the Cross!
God... reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ.2 Corinthians 5:18 NKJV
Tim Miller writes: "My nine-year-old daughter Jennifer was looking forward to our family holiday. But she became ill, and a long anticipated day at Sea World was replaced by an all-night series of CT scans, X-rays and blood tests at the hospital. As morning approached the doctor told my exhausted little girl that she would need to have one more test, a spinal tap. The procedure would be painful, they said. The doctor then asked me if I planned to stay in the room. I nodded, knowing I couldn't leave Jennifer alone during the ordeal. The doctor gently asked Jennifer to remove all her clothing. She looked at me with child-like modesty as if to ask if that were alright. They had her curl up into a tiny ball. I buried my face in hers and hugged her. When the needle went in, Jennifer cried. As the searing pain increased, she sobbed repeatedly, 'Daddy, Daddy, Daddy,' her voice becoming more earnest with each word. It was as if she were saying 'Oh Daddy, please, can't you do something?' My tears mingled with hers. My heart was broken, I felt nauseated. Because I loved her, I was allowing her to go through the most agonising experience of her life. In the middle of that spinal tap my thoughts went to the Cross. What unspeakable pain both the Son and the Father went through - for our sake."
But because of the Cross of Christ we have:
(1) Reconciliation. "God… reconciled us to Himself" (2 Corinthians 5:18 NKJV).
(2) Regeneration. "Having been born again" (1 Peter 1:23 NKJV).
(3) Resurrection. "Everyone who… believes… I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:40 NKJV).Thank God for the Cross!

How a statement changes the face of Faith!

"And Jesus went away from there, and withdrew into the district of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a Canaanite woman came out from that region, and began to cry out, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon- possessed."

"But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came to Him and kept asking Him, saying, "Send her away, for she is shouting out after us." But He answered and said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." But she came and began to bow down before Him, saying, "Lord, help me!" And He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." But she said, "Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."

"Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, your faith is great; be it done for you as you wish." And her daughter was healed at once." Matthew 15:21- 28 (NAS)

Reading this passage made me think some flash points.
What di God mean her faith and i personally could not relate the faith she had to the satement she makes
"Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."

But what i could make out is the kindness and grace that Jesus had .
Because she plead , Jesus showed how He loved us all.
Or may be He realised that she beleived really that she had the faith and she could be like taking a drop of His sprining love and grace.

May be Jesus's Mind was differeent i am too human to interpret it. But the statement she made or rather the knock or the reattempt she made changed the whole situation around.

Never Give upon our faith! Because He loves us and we can plead to Him any time!

Helps to live by faith togehter.
Helps to grow together.
Helps to Sing togehter.
Helps to rejoice together.
Helps to carry the burden togehter.
Helps to share the word togther.
Helps to experience faith and His love together!

So many are the blessings of a great fellowship in out Lord! Never miss a chance to be a part of a prayful fellowshp. That would be a great loss to miss it!

Brothers Dwelling in Unity

Psalms 133: A Song of degrees of David.

1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head,that ran down upon the beard,even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 as the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing,
even life for evermore.

What better subject to start for this blog than to start with what, who, when, where of ps133ians.

Well, it all started in CSI College of Engineering, Ooty, India where God by his great mercy and planning brought togather some of his precious creations :) viz., Joseph, Idikula, Einstien, Jeswin (Me), Arun Herberts and stuart Daniel along with one missing sheep Daniel Sivaram (believed to be in Bangalore) togather to dwell togather in unity. Thus our group was formed and named PS133ians as based on Psalms 133, bringing us togather from diversified backgrounds, culture, caste and creed yet with one unified mind to Serve our Lord togather as brothers in Christ.

Psalms 133 : A beautiful psalm which brings out a great truth the wonderful feeling of friendship and brotherhood in Christ. We are far apart in different locations of the world, yet united togather by the spirit of love that our Lord Jesus Christ has bestowed upon us. It is indeed good and pleasent for us breathern to dwell togather in unity.

The central theme of this psalm revolves around the blessings that we get by the fellowship we have togather. A beautiful promise which says "the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore." when brothers dwell togather, a promise of life everlasting, a long life filled with happiness and goodness from heaven.

Dear Friends, remember the good times of fellowship you had with your friends and brothers in Christ, in your churches, home, workplace and whereever you are. And when time comes, and when you meet, Remember the promise "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!......for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore." God Bless you.
